Scoring
Play-in games: No points (not included in pool)
1st Round Games: 1 point each / 1 extra point for each upset (64 total possible 1st Round points)
2nd Round Games: 2 point each / 2 extra points for each upset (64 total possible 2nd Round points)
3rd Round Games: 4 point each (32 total possible 3rd Round points)
4th Round Games: 8 point each (32 total possible 4th Round points)
5th Round Games: 16 point each (32 total possible 5th Round points)
Final Game: 32 points

Upset Points
As you can see above, upset points are awarded in the first two rounds only.

Eligibility
This pool is open to all my friends and family as well as their friends and family.

Scoring Errors
Please check your entry and verify that it is correct. Once the first tournament game has started (not including the "Play-in" game), your entry cannot be changed. It is your responsibility to check pool scores carefully and report any error in calculation to me immediately.

Entry Fee
The entry fee is $10 per bracket. There is no limit to the number of brackets an individual may submit. Payment must be received in a timely manner or you may be disqualified unless previous arrangements have been made with me. Referral Bonus
The person who refers the most people (as identified by the "pool contact" field on the brackets) will get $5 off their entry fee.

Entry Form Problems
When you submit your picks, your bracket first gets sent through an outside server before it gets to me. As you can imagine, that server is busy between Selection Sunday and the start of the Thursday games. If you try to submit your picks but the connection times out or it just seems to be taking too long (even for a busy server), please try to submit your picks again 5-10 minutes later. I appreciate your patience. If all else fails, just email the picks to me.

Tie-breaker
In case of a tie, a tie-breaker will be used to determine the winner. The tie-breaker used will be: highest percentage of correct picks throughout the tournament. If brackets are still tied, then we'll use the closest to correctly guessing the total number of points scored in the championship game. If the tie is still not broken, the players will split the appropriate prize(s).

The "Play-in" Games
The "Play-In" games will count for nothing in this pool.

Pool "Contact"
Your pool "Contact" is the person who told you about this pool. This is required because I may not personally know everyone who enters the pool and I need to know how to get in touch with everyone who enters the pool.

Reports
The reports you'll intially see on the website before the games start are limited because most of the reports contain team selection statistics. I don't want last-minute entrants to have the benefit of knowing who everyone else has picked to win. So, as soon as the tournament starts the full reports will be made available.
